Culinary Arts Intern / Trainee – | In this position you’ll be responsible of: | -Must be able to prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients. | -You will be able to prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. Prepare cold foods. Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. | -Keep workstation clean and organized at all times while keeping the station stocked for the next shift. | -Properly store food at appropriate temperatures while maintaining accurate food inventories. | -Cover kitchen positions in various restaurant outlets. | -Rotates food to ensure freshness at all times.
