This program is designed to build foundational cooking skills, expose trainees to high-end kitchen operations, and develop an understanding of professional kitchen standards within a fast-paced hospitality environment. | Key Responsibilities: | -Assist chefs with daily food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and basic cooking tasks | -Support different kitchen stations such as garde manger, hot kitchen, pastry, and banquets | -Follow standardized recipes and presentation guidelines | -Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in line with health and safety regulations | -Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO principles) | -Assist with plating dishes according to hotel standards | -Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages | -Participate in receiving and inspecting deliveries | -Adhere to all food hygiene and sanitation standards
